I grew up in Drexel Hill, went to school in Erie, Pa. and had just moved to Florida to work. I didn't know a soul in town. I went to a bar called the Parrot Lounge in Fort Lauderdale to watch the Eagles. I was surprised and happy to find I had picked the perfect place. All I could see everywhere in the bar was Eagles Green. All I could hear was wild Eagle fans screaming. As the game wound down a guy nearby me gave me a high-five. We got to talking and he asked where I was from. I explained: I live in Jupiter, Florida but I hail from outside Philadelphia.
