Mike Grego
My father's name was Joe Grego (AKA Joe Gringo, his nickname). He was the Eagles' No. 1 fan – a tradition he passed along to his three sons and a few grandsons. I think my greatest Eagles Fan Moment came every year when the Eagles' schedule was printed in the paper. My dad would look it over and proclaim with confidence: "Let's see, we should beat the Giants, Washington, St. Louis, etc., and finish the season with a 10-2 record." Alas, when the curtain went down on the season, we would finish up something like 2-10.
