I was raised in Philadelphia and I have had many terrific Eagles moments, but the best ever came when my son turned 16 in 1995. My son and I went to the Eagles-Dallas game every year. But in '95, we were unable to come north for the game. To make matters worse, the game was played on my son's 16th birthday (Remember: In 1995, there was no such thing as the NFL ticket so we couldn't watch the Eagles on our TV set at home like I do these days).
