I've had great moments in every one of the seven decades that I've been a staunch Eagles fan. But great as all those moments were, the one moment that really stands out came on a snowy Sunday afternoon way back in 1948. A blizzard hit Philadelphia that snowy Sunday, which happened to be the day the Chicago Cardinals and the Philadelphia Eagles played for the NFL Championship. It was snowing so hard that, before the game, the players themselves had to line up along the edge of the field and help the ground crew lift the tarp off the field.
