Martin Frank
I was born in 1925, before the Eagles came to be. I was nine or so, when the Eagles started playing in the NFL. Through all the lean years in the thirties, I became a diehard Eagles fan. To this day I, "bleed Eagles green."
During WWII, I was in the U.S. Navy on a mine sweeper as an electronic technician. When I returned from the war, I became a cardiologist and eventually headed the cardiology department at Abington Memorial Hospital from 1965 till 1990. I was also Associate Professor at Temple Medical School.
