To me the Eagles have always reminded me of my dad, Paul Green, who took me to my first Eagles game in 1961 when I was five. Talk about bad timing! A year earlier and I would have started off with a championship. As I grew up in Wilmington, Delaware, my bond with my dad, and our bond with the Eagles, grew. We spent every Sunday in the fall together, either going to the Eagles game or watching it on TV. We went to the games with a large group of friends and relatives. I was the only kid.
