I was only ten years old when I listened to the radio broadcast of the 1960 Eagles NFL Championship game. But that broadcast so long ago will always be my greatest Eagles fan moment. I can still hear the excitement in Bill Campbell’s voice. Bill was the announcer and play-by-play man in the fifties and early sixties. He was the only person in the radio booth. Bill handled everything. He did the play-by-play and the color too.
