On the eve of the NFC Championship game, Philly got walloped with a huge snowstorm. My friend and I decided to book a room in a downtown hotel. We weren't willing to risk missing a moment of the action because of some bogus road-closing. At kickoff, it was about 17 degrees with winds gusting near 40 MPH. I was thinking the Eagles HAD to score first. They did! Brian Westbrook took it to the house from 36 yards out.
