My No. 1 Greatest Eagles Fan Moment happened when I was 8 years old. It was 1979. I was sitting on my grandfather's lap on the porch of an old rented house in Cape May (N.J.).

I was wearing a Ron Jaworski jersey and my grandfather, Frank Wakefield, a crusty old guy who was a former TastyKake truck driver, told me the history of Philadelphia professional football.
