As the Eagles approach the 75th Anniversary of their franchise, the Suflas family approaches our 60th Anniversary as Eagles season ticket holders. My father became a season ticket holder at Connie Mack Stadium after coming home from World War II. It was a simpler time. He owned a restaurant in North Philadelphia, and players from both the Eagles and the Philadelphia A's ate there frequently because so many Eagles and Phillies lived in rooming houses in the North Philadelphia neighborhood near Germantown and Lehigh Avenues.
