The Eagles serve as a way to connect instantly with other Eagles fans because there are so many of us and we love the team so much! My greatest Eagles fan moment came when my wife and I were walking through our local Wal-Mart. Being super Eagles fans, my wife and I were both wearing Eagles green. I had my FS Brian Dawkins jersey on and she was wearing her McNabb jersey. Another couple, who were complete strangers to us, got a glimpse of us up the aisle as they walked past.Suddenly, they both turned and hurried back.

They headed our way and started singing the Eagles fight song loudly for everyone in the store to hear! What a terrific expression of Eagles pride it was for us and everyone else in the store! There we were – all of us – standing in the middle of the Wal-Mart belting out the Eagles fight song. No matter where and no matter when, Eagles fans have an unbelievable bond with one another!

I have to tell you about my wife, too, because she gave me another priceless Eagles fan moment. She wasn't always an Eagles fanatic, but she sure has changed her tune. So it was music to my ears when, a few weeks after the 2004 football season ended, she turned to me one day suddenly and said: "You know, I really miss watching Eagles football with you on Sundays." She was hooked. It doesn't get better than that.
